Our present world has so changed drastically in recent years, that the teaching profession will not just be limited to the ability to extend knowledge to people, but will also go beyond just extending knowledge to actually empower those being reached in the process. The teaching program in response to current demands of today’s world, must go beyond ‘informing people’ to ‘transforming people’, it must go beyond just ‘teaching people’ to ‘touching the lives of such people’.
This therefore demands a whole new paradigm of thought, as opposed to the traditional method of seeing the teaching profession today (extending knowledge, informing people, teaching people). This has accounted for the primary reason why our educational system is gradually going down the drain (despite the presence of many schools, institutions & even trained teachers).

AFRINVEST PROJECT: TO LAUNCH AFRICA'S FIRST ONLINE TEACHERS' VARSITY

The primary aim of this concept is to create on our educational reform model, a platform that will feature the exposition of African teachers to basic rudiments that make for an impactful teaching profession, even within the classroom setting.

We understand that our educational system in Africa will not thrive beyond the resource capacity as obtained within the teachers’ circle. The quality of students we see produced from our various schools, colleges & universities will be determined by the quality of teachers constituting the workforce community within our school setting. When we say quality, we tend to often define quality with respect to our teachers to mean those who’ve been privileged to be schooled in reputable & prestigious institutes of teachers’ training, universities, etc. However, a teacher having been through these learning scenes, does still not place on him/her the guarantee of being made a complete teacher with the capacity of bringing out the very best in his/her students/pupils.
